Hair Extensions

Hair extensions can totally transform your appearance and it's important to keep them looking 'salon fabulous'. Your stylist will offer you advice on simple maintenance and aftercare routines but if you have any questions we're always on hand to help!

Here are a few tips on looking after your hair extensions:

• The first wash should ALWAYS be done by your stylist
  
  
• Shampooing your hair:
  
  - separate the bonds and ease out any tangles
  - wet the hair (ideally in the shower)
  - apply shampoo to wet hair
  - squeeze from roots to end
  - gently massage scalp using fingertips
  - use a light up & down motion
  - rinse thoroughly
  - repeat as necessary

With hair extensions washing your hair will take longer. Take your time and don't rush - you might be surprised by the extra weight of your hair!

• Always pat your hair dry
  
  
• Do not rub your hair in a vigorous motion
  
  
• Dry the scalp area around the bonds
  
  
• Allow the rest of th hair to dry naturally
